Formation

Formation is a multi layered abstract woodcut print with linocut and stamp printed additional details onto 86gsm Awagami Masa paper 1/1 (one of one). Made up of pinks, greens, yellow, orange and blue.

Areas of the paper are slightly embossed where the woodcut has pressed into the paper when going through the press.

It is a very colourful and bright print. The image of me holding it conveys the colours of the print well. It also gives you a sense of the scale of the print.

Materials: water based block printing ink

Print size – 44cm x 34cm approx (portrait position)

Paper size – 53cm x 39cm approx

Supplied unmounted, unframed and wrapped in acid free tissue paper and rolled in a cardboard tube.
